About Noah Lowry:
After a successful September call-up in 2003, Lowry had a remarkable rookie year with the Giants in 2004 (source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_in_baseball). Going 6-0 and concluding with a 3.82 ERA in fourteen starts, he quickly made a name for himself. Notably, he earned recognition as the National League’s Player of the Week during the week of August 9 (source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_League_Baseball_Player_of_the_Week_Award).
Starting the 2005 season with an early victory, Lowry set a remarkable milestone, beginning his career with a 7-0 record. This winning streak stands as the longest in San Francisco Giants history for any pitcher and is the second longest in Giants franchise history, trailing only Hooks Wilts’s 12-0 start in 1904.
